The Joint ELI User Meeting will take place from 2-4 November 2022 with a central Plenary Day, 3 November 2022. The meeting will be hosted in person at the ELI Facilities, with streaming options connecting the main programme and opportunities to participate in sessions at all locations.

This year’s ELI Summer School, the seventh in a row, was hosted by ELI ALPS Research Institute between 30 August and 2 September 2022. The international event attracted young scientists interested in attoscience and laser physics from all over the world, including countries like the Netherlands, Portugal or the Philippines.

The 7th edition of the ELI Summer School series aims to provide young scientists with a comprehensive overview of the generation and application of intense laser pulses and laser-driven particle and radiation sources. Prof. Andrew Harrison, CEO of the Diamond Light Source since 2014 will join the Extreme Light Source ERIC as its first Director of Science. He will lead the scientific programme as well as coordinate the ELI user programme.
