PRAGUE, Czech Republic – The ELI ERIC General Assembly (GA) has unanimously approved the full legal integration of ELI ALPS into ELI ERIC, slated for 1 January 2024. This move paves the way for uniting two of the ELI ERIC Facilities, effectively achieving the original vision for ELI.

The research group of the National Laser-Initiated Transmutation Laboratory at the University of Szeged has demonstrated that neutron radiation can be produced even with low-energy laser pulses. The experiments were conducted at ELI ALPS Laser Research Institute.
