This training course was part of the IT-ELLI programme and guided the participants from design through production to the characterization of multilayer thin film coatings. In ELI-ALPS we have solid background of manufacturing substrates and coatings as well as measuring them thus we simply took the opportunity to provide fundamental lectures for attendees who are keen to understand ‘how it’s – really - made’.
