The strategic objective of the award’s issuer is to strengthen and mainstream family-friendly values in society. The annual award is open to any Hungarian or foreign-owned organization operating in Hungary. If, in the pre-screening questionnaire, a workplace achieves the score required for the audit, an on-site inspection is conducted to check the organization's family-friendly operations and measures. The Family Friendly Workplace certification mark awarded following a successful audit provides credible proof that its holder is a family-friendly employer.
Over the years, our research institute, as an employer, has implemented a number of family-friendly measures that have increased employee satisfaction. ELI ALPS offers colleagues in suitable jobs the possibility of flexible working hours, as well as working from home, remotely or part-time. The Institute also places great emphasis on the health of its employees: the cafeteria allowance includes a health insurance package, which can be extended to family members. ELI also offers the opportunity to recharge every day: in addition to corporate events and community-building activities organized for employees and their families (e.g. the Santa Claus party and the end-of-year event before Christmas), the building's relaxation/worship room is also available for free use.
The recognition has been recently handed over to our Research Institute, which is now entitled to use the Family Friendly Workplace label.
