We open our doors to the general public twice a year, on our open days, while guided tours are available for professional and educational visitors upon prior registration. Furthermore, we offer training courses to people with a serious interest in natural sciences.
Professional and educational visits:
Visitors for professional and educational purposes are welcome all year round, free of charge, subject to prior registration and appointment. For guided tours, we can accommodate groups of 10 to 25 people interested in natural sciences and in the research projects conducted at our Institute. Groups can participate in guided tours around the building, scientific lectures, on-site science lessons, and can visit our interactive visitor centre.
Training courses:
Our research institute is also open to those who want to develop their skills in physics:
Open days:
The doors of ELI ALPS are open to everyone twice a year, on the Friday closest to 16 May for our Day of Light programme and on the last Friday of September for the Researchers' Night event.
On these two days each year, we offer a full evening programme of guided visits, lectures and demonstrations at pop-up stands to showcase the research projects conducted at our Institute. Our programmes provide an exciting and interesting learning experience for primary school children, secondary school students, adults, lay people and those with a serious interest in science.
We look forward to seeing you!
